At election time, every vote matters. Our team works behind the scenes to make sure people across Scotland can take part in the democratic process—even if they can’t attend a polling station in person.

Postal voting allows eligible voters to receive their ballot papers by mail, complete them at home, and return them securely in time to be counted in the Scottish Parliament elections. Our role is to support the smooth running of this process, helping ensure that postal votes are issued, handled, and processed accurately and efficiently.
